Course Objectives
Overview
The increased detection of small-sized peripheral non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has renewed interest in sublobar resection in lieu of lobectomy. The standardization of surgical technique and a precise preoperative planning are crucial to achieve a true anatomical and oncological procedure with the best possible outcome.
This educational program is designed for thoracic surgeons and their teams with consolidated minimally invasive surgical experience, who wish to increase their skills and to implement this new clinical strategy in their practice.
